Brooke Horejsi, Assistant Dean for Art & Creative Engagement and Executive Director of UtahPresents in Salt Lake City, has more than 20 years of experience in the field of creativity. In her role, Horejsi oversees a non-profit, campus based arts presenter, and is a member of the leadership team at the University of Utah College of Fine Arts. Her work focuses on embedding the arts and creativity broadly across campus and the region and is particularly attentive to the creative output of artists and collaboratives which are not part of historically dominant, commercially focused, aesthetics. As a connector, Horejsi and UtahPresents, work to create reciprocal relationships which, through the lens of creativity and the arts, serve both the campus and regional communities while also intersecting with the larger cultural ecosystem. Additionally, Horejsi serves as adjunct faculty and has a variety of grant panel, project advising, and board service experiences.
